* Stray shower Monday morning
* Comfortable temperatures
* Humidity increases Thursday
It turned out to be a beautiful day with mostly sunny skies and highs in the middle 80s across the Mid-South. Other than a weak short wave (piece of energy) moving to our North sparking off a few morning showers, we'll see a decent amount of sun Monday. Expect partly cloudy to mostly sunny conditions for the first half of the week, followed by a chance of storms by late Thursday and Friday and into the weekend.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and mild. Winds: NE 5 mph. Low: 65
MONDAY: 30 percent morning shower, especially north. Partly cloudy and warm. Winds: NE 5-10 mph. High: 85
NEXT WEEK: We'll start off warm and dry with highs in the middle 80s-- pretty much a continuation of the weekend. By Thursday, our next front sets up to the West, increasing South winds in our area. This will bring in muggy conditions and a slight chance of a few storms by Thursday and Friday.
NEXT WEEKEND: Unfortunately, rain and storms may meet up with us as we head into the holiday weekend. Highs will be in the 80s with scattered storms by Saturday and Sunday.
