Orlando, Fla. (WMC) - Tyler Harris had 14 points but Memphis lost to Oklahoma State 84-64 in the AdvoCare Invitational on Thursday.
Kyvon Davenport had 12 points, Jeremiah Martin and Kareem Brewton added 10 points, but the Tigers couldn’t beat the Cowboys to advance to the AdvoCare Invitational semifinals.
Cameron McGriff had 11 points and 12 rebounds for Oklahoma State, while Thomas Dziagwa had 14 points.
Michael Weathers added 13 for the Cowboys who will face defending national champion Villanova on Friday.
Memphis shot just 36 percent from the field, while allowing the Cowboys to shoot 57 percent.
The Tigers were also out-rebounded 40-30.
Memphis will play Canisius in the consolation round on Friday at 12:30 pm.
