MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis police arrested a man they say is responsible for shooting and killing his stepfather Friday night.
Officers responded to the shooting around 6:05 p.m. at a home on Ashridge Cove, near the intersection of East Raines and Crump roads.
Investigators said Ronnie Ball was found on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Donovan Kilgore-Russell now faces second-degree murder charges.
According to a report, Kilgore-Russell got into an argument Friday night with his mom and his stepfather stepped in.
Police said Kilgore-Russell fired shots, hitting his stepfather.
Kilgore-Russell is expected to face a judge on Monday.
