MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A 21-year-old man is now in non-critical condition after he was shot on the interstate Tuesday night.
The victim told officers he was driving eastbound on I-240 to get on 385 when he felt a pain in his back and crashed into an embankment.
According to the Memphis Police report, the victim's Honda Accord was riddled with bullets, and officers found more than a dozen shell casings on the highway.
The victim said he didn't see who fired the shots.
He'd just left the gym and said he'd had no fights or issues with anyone.
