OXFORD, MS (WMC) - The Ole Miss Rebels are back in the AP Top 25 for the first time in six years.
Former Southaven High Star Terence Davis earned SEC Player of the Week honors, leading Mississippi to two victories over top 15 teams last week.
Davis scored 27 points and 12 boards in an upset of 10th-ranked Auburn at home, then scored 12 key points in Ole Miss' second upset of the week, knocking off 14th-ranked Mississippi State in the rivarly Game at Starkville.
That win marks the first time Ole Miss beat back-to-back ranked teams since the 2002-03 season. Next up, Ole Miss hosts LSU on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Pavilion in Oxford.
