Loris Moore and Dartanea Young are accused of helping Tyrone Shepard hide from authorities.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Two women are facing charges for hiding the suspect in a deadly Christmas Eve robbery.

Detectives say 19-year-old Loris Moore and 20-year-old Dartanea Young helped hide 18-year-old Tyrone Shepard inside a closet wall at a home in Westwood. Detectives spotted a hole in the wall concealed by storage totes, which Shepard couldn’t have placed after he was already in hiding.

All three were arrested by a U.S. Marshals Task Force and taken to jail Wednesday. Detectives say they found a gun near Shepard when he was arrested.

Shepard is suspected of a Christmas Eve robbery in which the victims, Juan Garcia and Jose Juarez, were shot in their apartment near Airways and Ketchum. Garcia died of his injuries.

Moore and Young are charged with false reporting. Shepard is charged with especially aggravated robbery, aggravated robbery, carjacking, aggravated assault and escape.
