MPD investigating shooting after victim shows up at fire station
Memphis police are investigating a shooting near Chelsea and Lambert after a victim showed up at a nearby fire station.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis police are investigating a shooting Monday afternoon.

Police say someone was shot at a home near Griggs and Lambert around 3 p.m. The victim showed up at a fire station near Lambert and Chelsea.

A witness said he walked outside after hearing about three shots and saw a man running down the street with wounds to the leg and above the eye. The victim’s friend took him to the fire station before paramedics took him to to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say the suspect was last seen driving southbound on Lambert in a black Infiniti with red dealership tags.
