Sunny but cold afternoon

Plenty of sunshine the rest of the afternoon. Highs may stay in the 30s for many areas with a gusty southeast wind.

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds. Winds: SE 10-15 mph. Low: 37.

TUESDAY: Tuesday will start off dry, but showers will be possible by late afternoon or evening. The best chance for rain will be on Tuesday night with heavy rain moving in by midnight. Highs will be in the low 50s with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

WEDNESDAY: On and off showers will continue on Wednesday. There could be a wintry mix of sleet and snow Wednesday night as temperatures drop below freezing. Accumulations will be little to none. Highs will be in the low 40s.

THURSDAY-FRIDAY: Look for sunshine to mix with clouds at times. Highs will be in the 40s Thursday and only in the 30s on Friday. Lows will be in the 20s both nights.

WEEKEND: We could have a wet day on Saturday with a chance for a wintry mix on Saturday night. Everything will clear out for Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 30s both days this weekend and lows will be in the 20s.
