TULSA, OK (WMC) - The Memphis Tigers rode into Tulsa on Wednesday night looking to fix their road woes.
That wouldn’t be the case as they faced a Golden Hurricane team that’s just as good at home as Memphis is.
The Tigers went down early, falling down 22 points in the first half.
They’d spend the rest of the game trying to catch up, and almost did.
Tyler Harris, who was held scoreless in the first half, put on a show in the second with 18 points.
The Tigers would cut the lead to eight before falling behind again.
Tulsa went on to win 95-79.
Memphis is now 13-8 and 4-3 in the AAC. They next game will come on the road at USF on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
