Warmer weekend and tracking rain next week

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A strong southerly flow will allow temperatures to continue to rise for the next few days. Rain chances are slim for now but will increase next week with a series of fronts entering the Mid-South.

SATURDAY: Partly Cloudy WIND: SE 5 HIGH: 65

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly Cloudy WIND: SE 5 LOW: 50

THE WEEKEND: Clouds linger overnight but will break tomorrow allowing for periods of sunshine for much of the Mid-South. The clouds will build back into the area Saturday night but a mainly dry pattern will continue. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with afternoon highs again in the mid 60s with lows in the mid 50s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower and highs in the upper 60s and overnight lows in the upper 50s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and highs in the upper 60s with lows in the upper 50s. Wednesday will be cloudy scattered showers and high temperatures remaining in the upper 60s with in the mid to upper 50s. Thursday will be cloudy with scattered showers and highs in the lower 60s with lows near 50. Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and highs near 50 and falling through the day.
