JACKSON, MS (WMC) - A new website is making it easy for Mississippi drivers to keep track of specific conditions on roads and bridges across the state.
The MDOT Public Accountability Transportation Hub, or PATH, collects a history of road conditions.
You can check your area specifically or you can view a map of the entire state. The Hub will also house a rolling list of all the closed bridges statewide.
The data is presented in a user-friendly format with color-coded conditions.
"There's people that are skeptical of government agencies,” said Jason Scott with MDOT. “They say they're telling us it's that bad, well show us how bad it is. That's what this website is designed to do."
MDOT also plans to add a section on the page that allows you to view active construction projects.
