To the Bluff City,
Thank you for welcoming me with open arms. Just six months ago you became my home, but in that short time I’ve eaten incredible food, been introduced to the history that makes you Memphis and met wonderful people.
I’m proud to live among your rich history. I’m proud to share in all the lessons you teach.
You’re tough. Even when it seems like the odds are stacked up against you, you show us your resilience. A lot of us have faith in you and know you’ll come out on top.
I’ve lived in several cities over the years, but none quite like you. Thank you for being unique and showing me there’s more to a city than just a reputation. There are people, real people who make you an incredible city to live in. I’m proud to call you home.
