Another cold night but a southwest flow brings change

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A steady stream of Pacific moisture is keeping clouds in place across the Mid-South and will ultimately lead to more rain.

TONIGHT: Mostly Cloudy WIND: NE 10 LOW: 24

SATURDAY: Mostly Cloudy WIND: NE 5-10 HIGH: 43

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly Cloudy WIND: E 5 LOW: 38

THE WEEKEND: Clouds remain in place overnight along with a very slight chance of flurries or some brief sleet in parts of North Mississippi. We can expect some breaks in the clouds and somewhat warmer temperatures but still below average. Clouds and rain chances increase Saturday night. Sunday will be cloudy with isolated to widely scattered showers during the afternoon along with highs in the mid 40 with low continuing to linger in the mid 40s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be cloudy with rain and high temperatures in the upper 50s and overnight lows in the lower 50s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with showers early in the day and highs in the mid to upper 50s and lows in the mid 30s. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with afternoon highs in the lower 50s and overnight lows in the mid 30s. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with showers developing late and high temperatures in the mid 50s with lows in the upper 40s. Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and highs in the mid to upper 50s.
