Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 50s with sunshine this afternoon with south wind at 5-10 mph.
TONIGHT: A few clouds and not as cold. Temperatures will fall into the mid 40s. The wind will pick up out of the south at 10-15 mph.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy and windy with highs in the low to mid 60s. A stray shower can’t be ruled out but most areas will stay dry. Winds will be out of the southwest at 15-25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.
FRIDAY: Showers are possible during the day into the evening. Highs will only reach the upper 40s to low 50s with lows in the 30s Friday night.
CHILLY WEEKEND AHEAD: Clouds will linger at times both Saturday and Sunday. It will remain cool with highs in the 40s to low 50s and lows in the 30s. Another batch of showers are possible by late Saturday afternoon and evening. A shower or two can’t be ruled out Sunday as well.
NEXT WEEK: The weather pattern gets pretty active with a strong system moving in from the southwest Monday night into Tuesday. The highest rain chance is on Tuesday for now, but the timing could change on this as more data comes in. It will likely be a cold rain and there could be a freezing rain event to the northwest of us across northern AR and southern MO. We will watch this setup closely and have more details as it gets closer. Highs will only be in the 30s to low 40s Monday and Tuesday.
