Wind Advisory continues through 4 PM with gusts up to 35 mph at times. Temperatures will hit the upper 50s to low 60s this afternoon with a mostly cloudy sky. The wind will subside some by late evening.
TONIGHT: Cloudy with a stray shower possible. Lows in the mid to upper 40s. Winds southwest turning northwest by morning at 5-10 mph.
FRIDAY: Showers are possible by the afternoon into the evening. Temperatures will start in the upper 40s to low 50s then fall through the 40s in the afternoon. Winds will be northeast at 5-15 mph. Temperatures will fall into the 30s Friday evening. A brief wintry mix is possible in northwest TN and northeast AR around that same time, but should not cause any issues.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Showers end late with lows in the low to mid 30s and a gusty north wind.
CHILLY WEEKEND AHEAD: Clouds will linger at times both Saturday and Sunday. It will remain cool with highs in the 40s Saturday and 50s Sunday. Lows will be in the 40s Saturday night. Another batch of showers are possible Saturday night into Sunday morning. A shower or two can’t be ruled out during the day Sunday as well.
NEXT WEEK: Monday looks mostly cloudy with highs in the 40s. The weather pattern gets pretty active with a strong system moving in from the southwest Monday night into Tuesday. Rain will be likely all day Tuesday. 1-2″ is possible with even higher amounts from Corinth to Oxford. Highs will be in the 40s Tuesday. Some rain could linger into Wednesday mainly in southwest TN and northeast MS with highs once again in the 40s to low 50s.
