A lot of rain over the next week

A chilly afternoon ahead! Clouds will linger off and on through the afternoon with highs only in the low to mid 40s. Winds will be north at 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Slight chance of a shower. Breezy at times. Winds: NE 5-15 mph. Low: 34.

TUESDAY: Rain will develop and move in from the south by midday Tuesday into the afternoon. Heavy rain is likely and there could be a few thunderstorms. Widespread rain will continue into Tuesday night. Temperatures will hold in the 40s during the day into the night. Rainfall totals will range from 1-3 inches.

WEDNESDAY: Rain will taper off from west to east by afternoon with clouds lingering. It will be warmer by afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

THURSDAY: We will have a break in the rain early Thursday, but rain will move back in that night. Highs will reach the upper 50s.

FRIDAY: Isolated to scattered showers and storms are possible, but it won’t be widespread. Rain chance is 60%. Highs will be in the upper 50s to low 60s. Warmer air will surge north Friday night with temperatures remaining steady or rising.

STORMS LIKELY SATURDAY: Heavy rain and storms are likely Saturday. Some could be severe but it’s too far out for details at this time. Please check back with us for updates on this throughout the week.
