Heavy rain moves east but showers linger

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A slow moving low pressure system will keep light rain and drizzle in the area through the end of the week.

TONIGHT: Showers WIND: N 10-20 LOW: 48

FRIDAY: Showers WIND: NW 10-20 HIGH: 53

FRIDAY NIGHT: Showers WIND: NW 5-10 LOW: 45

THE WEEKEND: Showers will end late Friday night but clouds will linger through the morning hours Saturday with skies becoming partly cloudy to mostly sunny by the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the mid 60s and overnight lows in the lower 50s. Sunday will be mostly sunny and mild with high temperatures in the mid 70s and lows in the upper 50s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be partly cloudy and warm with afternoon highs in the upper 70s and lows near 60. Tuesday and Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a very slight chance of a shower each day along with high temperatures in the mid 70s and overnight lows near 60. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower along with highs in the lower 70s.
