Police find trespassing ‘ninja’ turtle, release it with a warning

EUFAULA, AL (WSFA) - The Eufaula Police Department says it responded to a call Friday morning regarding a snappy suspect found behind an area residence.

The officers quickly located a snapping turtle and had a bit of fun with the encounter on the department’s Facebook page.

Officers said they believed the suspect to be a ninja who goes by the name of Raphael with a last known address in New York.

Raphael gave officers a bit of trouble but was eventually released with a warning.

Officers were dispatched to a possible ninja behind a residence. Officers located and were able to detain the subject after some resistance and a snappy attitude. Subject was a teenager identified as Raphael, from New York. He was released after receiving warnings for trespassing and wearing a mask in public.”
