Showers move out, making way for weekend sunshine

Showers end from west to east across the Mid-South tonight followed by drier air that will be in place for the weekend and start to next week.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Clear WIND: SW 5 LOW: 50

THE WEEKEND: A northwest wind will keep temperatures a few degrees below average tomorrow along, but a southerly shift in winds Saturday night will allow for a rapid warm up. Sunday will be mostly sunny with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s along with lows in the upper 50s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be partly cloudy and warm with afternoon highs in the upper 70s and lows near 60. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and overnight lows near 60. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain along with highs again in the mid to upper 70s and lows near 60. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with showers and highs in the mid 70s and lows in the low 60s. Friday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain and high temperatures in the lower 70s.
