MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A major surprise was given to a Methodist Le Bonheur outreach educator Wednesday.
Brieana Driskill was awarded a $10,000 scholarship to pay for nearly all of her MBA degree at WGU Tennessee.
Driskill is part of a program that teaches the community about teen pregnancy prevention.
She says she thought Wednesday was just a normal day at work.
“I had no idea. I thought we were doing something dealing with work. Like they really surprised me, I had no idea,” said Driskill.
WGU Tennessee is a nonprofit, online university established by Governor Bill Haslam, as part of the “Drive to 55” initiative.
