MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The city of Memphis has launched an app to help customers keep up with trash collection.
The “Memphis Curbside Collection” app will allow customers to create collection calendars, sign up for reminders, and receive service changes alerts.
City leader say the app is a way to make things easier for the public.
“This will be something that is very quick and easy to do. You don’t have to worry about calling 311. It is right there at your phone any time of the day, 24/7,” Recycling Manager Amanda Fryer says.
The free app will also allow customers to keep track of wen large debris can be put on the curb for pickup.
