Sirens sound in Blytheville during Mississippi County tornado warning

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (WMC) - The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Mississippi County late Thursday afternoon. The warning was allowed to expire at 5:30 p.m.

WMC Action News 5′s Janice Broach was in Blytheville on another story where she was evacuated to the basement until the threat cleared.

Tornado sirens sounded in the distance because of a suspected tornado in Gosnell, Arkansas.
