Memphis golfer in hunt to make NCAA Finals

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - University of Memphis Golfer Michaela Fletcher is in second place after day two of the NCAA Women’s Oklahoma Regional.

Fletcher shot a 2-under par 70, giving her a 6-under par total in the 3-day event. She’s 3 shots back of Leader Olivia Mahaffey of Arizona State, and one stroke up on 3rd place. The Top 5 Individuals make the NCAA Finals.

Team-wise, Texas is a stroke up on Florida for 1st with Purdue and Wake Forest in tow. Ole Miss is tied for 6th at 5 over par. Mississippi State 8th.

At the Washington Regional, USC is Running away with it at 10 under par, but Arkansas still has a chance of advancing sitting in 4th place.

And at the Auburn Regional, Duke is out Front. Tennessee in tied for 6th at 13 over par. Final Round comes Wednesday. The top 5 teams in each region advance to the Women’s NCAA Finals in Fayetteville, Arkansas, next Friday.
