MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A man is in police custody after multiple carjackings and home invasions on the same street.
Memphis police say 18-year-old Lehman Drumwright Jr. is responsible for the crime.
According to a police affidavit Drumwright and another suspect assaulted a woman in her driveway before forcing her to let them into her home on Ashview Cove.
The woman was struck in the head with a gun, and two other victims were held at gunpoint while the suspects took two flat screen televisions.
They fled the seen in the victim's car.
Three days later, Drumwright and a group of suspects carjacked a man in his driveway on Ashview Cove.
They emptied the victim's pockets and fired two shots in the air before fleeing the scene in the victim's car.
Drumwright is charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, acting in concert, aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, and carjacking.
