MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Former Memphis Tiger Tony Pollard inked his deal with the Dallas Cowboys on Friday.
The deal is reportedly for four years.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The former Melrose High star was an All Conference Player at the University of Memphis fro three years, earning All American Honors as a kick returner.
He went pro after his redshirt junior season and was drafted by the Cowboys in the 4th Round with the 128th overall pick.
“They see me as a running back that’s also talented enough to lineup and make mix matches against the linebackers, running routes out of the backfield. Being a contributor on special teams as well,” Pollard says.
Cowboys rookie mini camp ends Sunday.
The first full team activity is May 21st.
