Mid-South teams fail to advance in men’s golf tourney

ATHENS, Ga. (WMC) - The final day of Men’s NCAA Golf Regionals turned out to be a tough one for Mid-South schools.

The Memphis Tigers bow out of the Athens, Georgiam Regionalm finishing in 8th place. The top 5 teams in each Region make the Finals.

Individually, Tigers’ Brandon Bawdin just misses qualifying by one stroke, ending the tournament with a 2 under par total.

Arkansas finishes 6th, but Hogs’ Julian Perico makes the finals at 3-under; that’s the best score of any player not on a qualifying team.

Ole Miss bows out at 6th in the Stanford Regional with a +3. And Mississippi State and Arkasnas State are done at the Louisville Kentucky Regional. The Dogs coming in at +14. The Red Wolves at 26-Over.
