WEEKEND: Saturday will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon pop-up shower. However, most of the area will remain dry on Saturday. Highs will climb to the upper 80s again tomorrow. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible throughout the day Sunday as a front moves into the area. A few storms could include small hail, gusty winds and frequent lightning. Rain will move out by Sunday night. Highs will drop to the lower 80s Sunday.
NEXT WEEK: As we continue this summer-like pattern, pop-up thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon next week. High temperatures will remain slightly above average in the mid to upper 80s. Lows will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
