Man charged with robbing 2 men in church parking lot

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis police officers arrested a man accused of robbing two people at gunpoint in a church parking lot.

Officers said Jarquavious Murry approached two men in the parking lot of a church on Hartland Avenue near Chelsea Avenue.

The victims said Murry pointed a gun at them, forced them to get on the ground, and took their wallets.

The victims got in their car and followed Murry and stopped police for help.

Police said a stolen revolver was also found hidden under the air filter in the hood of Murry's car.

Murry faces charges of aggravated robbery.
