Dry now, but storms arrive late tonight

It's a mild morning with a partly cloudy sky and temperatures in the 60s and 70s. We will have sunshine this afternoon and a breezy south wind, which will put highs in the upper 80s. There is a Wind Advisory in place for eastern Arkansas 12 pm until 9 pm, which means wind gusts could be up to 40 mph. Most of the day will be dry, but storms will arrive late tonight. Rain will move in after midnight and last through early tomorrow morning.

TONIGHT: Cloudy. 40%. Winds: S 15 mph. Low: 72.

REST OF THE WEEK: The best chance for strong storms will be in eastern Arkansas and then the line will fall apart as it crosses the Mississippi River. Scattered showers will continue Wednesday, but most of the rain will be in west Tennessee and northeast Mississippi. We will clear out on Wednesday night. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s tomorrow. It will be dry and sunny Thursday and Friday with highs in the lower 90s.

WEEKEND: It will remain hot and humid over the weekend with high temperatures in the lower 90s and a heat index in the mid 90s. We will have dry and sunny conditions this weekend and into the start of next week.
