Rising humidity, chance for afternoon storms

It's dry and clear this morning with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. It will be warmer than yesterday with highs in the upper 80s and a heat index around 90. A stray afternoon shower is possible, but most of the area will stay dry today. More clouds will move in tonight and lows will drop to the lower 70s.

TODAY: Partly cloudy. 20%. Winds: SW 5-10 mph. High: 88.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. 20%. Winds: SW 5 mph. Low: 72.

REST OF THE WEEK: Wednesday and Thursday will also feature a chance for afternoon and evening scattered storms. However, everyone will not see rain. Highs will be in the upper 80s on both Wednesday and Thursday. With sunshine and a southwest wind, humidity levels will be back up at the end of the week. The highs will be in the lower 90s with a heat index around 100 on Friday.

WEEKEND: It now looks like we could see a few afternoon pop-up storms on both Saturday and Sunday. The weekend is definitely not a wash-out, but a shower or storm will be possible between noon and 6 pm. Highs will be in the lower 90s with lows in the lower 70s.
