MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - After an investigation, Memphis Police Department determined that no one was shot at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in East Memphis on Wednesday morning.
Police originally said a man was shot and taken to the hospital.
Instead, officers now said the man was robbed, but no shots were fired.
Police said the man was approached by three men while walking into the hotel.
One of the suspects hit him on the head before stealing his key fob, and stealing his phone out of the victim’s car.
The victim was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
Police released a photo of the suspects.
