Sheriff identifies couple dead after murder-suicide inside Marshall County health clinic
Carl Robinson walked into Williams Medical Clinic Tuesday, July 16, 2019 and shot his wife, Latoya Thompson, before killing himself, according to the Marshall County sheriff. She later died at the hospital.

POTTS CAMP, Miss. (WMC) - Authorities are investigating a shooting at a health clinic in Marshall County involving a candidate for Mississippi state representative.

Sheriff Kenny Dickerson says two people are dead after a shooting at Williams Medical Clinic in Potts Camp, Mississippi.

Dickerson says Carl Robinson entered the clinic and shot his wife, Latoya Thompson, before killing himself. She was flown to the hospital where she later died.

Robinson was running for state representative of district five.

Investigators say the two were in the middle of a divorce.
