MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A grand jury indicted a man after a fatal stabbing at a Sonic restaurant earlier this year.

Markell Austin, 22, was indicted on first-degree murder charges for the stabbing on Covington Pike on February 9.

Investigators said Austin approached 28-year-old Cortez Brown and stabbed him repeatedly. Brown died at the scene.

A bloody knife was recovered from the area and Austin was taken into custody soon after.
