LAKELAND, Tenn. (WMC) - After seven years, funding has been secured for a new high school in Lakeland.
According to the city, a $60 million Community Facilities loan has been secured.
This type of loan will be used once construction is complete.
The city will then secure interim financing from a local bank.
Lakeland Preparatory High School will serve students in grades 5-12.
It is expected to be open by August 2022.
