MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A Memphis Fire Department ambulance flipped and crashed Friday evening on I-240 near the Jackson Avenue exit.
It is unknown what caused the crash, but officials say rainy weather conditions at the time could have contributed.
Fire Ambulance Unit #20 had severe front and side damage after the crash and was towed from the scene, officials say.
According to an Instagram post, the paramedic and the emergency medical technician (EMT) each had minor injuries and were treated at the hospital.
The driver was cited for failure to maintain proper control.
