TUNICA, Miss. (WMC) - Three people were rushed to three Mid-South hospitals after a truck crashed into the golf cart they were riding in over the weekend.
According to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of the truck is charged with DUI.
First responders rushed to the scene on Saturday after 7 p.m. and found three people who were on the golf cart who needed medical attention.
One child was airlifted to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, a man was airlifted to Regional One and another man was taken to the hospital via ambulance.
The child is now in ICU at Le Bonheur and one of the men remains in the hospital. The other man has been released.
