Strong storms starting to exit but rain is not quite over

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - We have no active warnings right not but the threat for strong storms will remain especially in North Mississippi although the threat is rapidly moving east. The main threats will be gusty wind, frequent lightning, heavy rainfall and the potential for small hail. Rain will begin to taper off from west to east after 7 pm.

It will remain very breezy even after we dry out. A Wind Advisory is in place for Sunday from 6 am to 6pm.

It is going to be a much colder but a drier pattern as we head into Sunday. The drier pattern will last for much of the upcoming week. Our next system will arrive by the end of the week bringing rain chances by Thursday.
