MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A Tennessee lawmaker who burned a red light camera ticket and went viral for it, introduced a bill that would protect thousands of drivers from citations.

Representative Andy Holt of Dresden set fire to a red light ticket back in 2016 and posted the video to Facebook.

His newest bill would prohibit citations issued based on photos from unmanned traffic cameras.

Holt filed the bill Thursday, previous versions of his bill have failed.
