MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Tiger football team losing out on its much-anticipated matchup at Purdue this season.

The reason: the Big Ten voted Thursday to limit each member’s schedule to only conference games, citing coronavirus for the move.

Tigers Assistant Director Laird Veatch says the financials and potential for a replacement game will be discussed at a later date. The University of Memphis was reported to receive $750,000 to play at Purdue.
