A great weekend followed by more rain & cooler temperatures next week

Clouds clear for the weekend ahead of a cold front that will move through the Mid-South Monday bringing rain for much of the day. Cooler drier air will quickly move in behind the front and remain in place for much of next week.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) -

TONIGHT: Clearing with patchy fog developing before sunrise, a light southeast wind, and lows in the lower 60s.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy with south winds at 5 to 10 MPH and afternoon highs in the low 80s.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear with a light south wind and overnight lows in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY: Partly Cloudy and slightly warmer with high temperatures in the mid 80s and overnight lows in the mid 60s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be cloudy with rain for much of the day along with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s. Rainfall amounts will average a half inch to an inch. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with afternoon highs near 70 and lows in the lower 50s. Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the mid 70s and lows in the low to mid 50s. Friday will be mostly sunny and cooler with highs near 70.
