MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The untimely death of an Idlewild Presbyterian pastor has led to an honorary street naming.

The street was named after the late Reverend Dr. Steve Montgomery of the Idlewild Presbyterian Church Monday morning who served as pastor for 19 years.

His congregation says the marker represents Montgomery’s “life and legacy to present and future Memphians.”
