Congressman David Kustoff wins re-election to US House in Tennessee

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Associated Press is reporting Congressman David Kustoff has won the re-election to the U.S. House in Tennessee.

Kustoff will continue to serve the 8th Congressional District after defeating Democratic opponent Erika Pearson with 69% of the vote.

Kustoff released a statement after his win was announced:

‎"I am honored and humbled to serve the hard-working people of West Tennessee in Washington. These next two years, I can assure you West Tennessee will continue to have a strong voice in Washington."
