TDOT: I-55 southbound shutdown after multi-vehicle crash reported

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Southbound lanes were shutdown on I-55 near I-240 Tuesday morning after a crash.

MFD said the crash was reported around 6:46 am during early morning traffic. Two women were taken to Regional One in critical condition.

According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, southbound lanes have reopened in the area.
