MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Ole Miss rebels finally opened their basketball season Thursday night against Jackson State after the coronavirus caused the postponement of their first six games.

Take you to the Pavilion in Oxford where Rebels Head Coach Kermit Davis had to personally deal with the disease, as did some of his players. Jackson State comes out feisty, taking an early lead off careless play in the backcourt - but Ole Miss quickly gets it together after that.

Romello White pinked up tough and one’s in the paint.. and the Rebels defense clamped down, forcing 25 turnovers.

The offense produced 21 assists. DeVonta Shuler leads the way with 23 points. Ole Miss romps, final score 80-45.
