Army West Point invited to play in 2020 AutoZone Liberty Bowl

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - AutoZone Liberty Bowl officials have decided to invite Army West Point to take on West Virginia in this year’s game.

This will be Army’s first time playing in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.

This comes after the Tennessee Volunteers were forced to pull out of the bowl due to new COVID-19 cases among coaches and players.

The 2020 AutoZone Liberty Bowl is set for Dec. 31.
