MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A United States Marine and Vietnam War Veteran was the first to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the Memphis VA.

Mr. Randy L. Johnson, Sr., got his vaccination Tuesday at 10:00 am. He’s currently an inpatient in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit.

Johnson is the first Veteran to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at the Memphis VA.
