Memphis vs. UCF game postponed over COVID-19 issues
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Tuesday night’s Tigers game is postponed.
The game was set for an 8 p.m. tipoff at UCF but is now postponed because of positive COVID-19 cases and ongoing contact tracing at UCF, the American Athletic Conference announced Tuesday.
The AAC is working to reschedule the game.
It’s the Tigers’ second-straight game to be postponed because of COVID-19 involving the opponent. Memphis was due to play at Temple Saturday before the game was postponed.
The Tigers return home to host SMU Jan. 14 at 8 p.m. The game at FedExForum will be played without fans.
