Man shot to death at discount auto part store, according to police

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A man is dead after a Saturday afternoon shooting on Lamar Avenue at a discount auto part store.

Memphis police say the shooting occurred around 1:15 p.m. at Rufu’s Discount Brakes and Mufflers. The man was found shot and died on the scene.

Investigators ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.

At approximately 1:15 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at 2597 Lamar Avenue, Discount Mufflers. One male was shot and pronounced deceased on the scene. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
