MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The College Football Hall of Fame announced its class of inductees for 2021. One Tennessee Vol stands out among the rest. Lineback Al Wilson gets the call to the Hall. The Jackson, Tennessee native was one of the game’s most dominant defensive players in the late 1990′s.
As a First Team All-American, Wilson led the Vols to the inaugural BCS National Championship in 1998, which they won over Florida State. He helped Tennesse win two SEC Championships and four AP Top 10 Finishes.
