Colder air arrives tonight and sticks around through the weekend

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Expect off and on clouds through sunset with highs in the mid 50s. Winds will be southwest at 10-15 mph.

TONIGHT: Clouds early with a stray shower between 6 and 9 PM. It will clear out before midnight. Lows in the low to mid 30s. Wind: west at 5-10 mph.

FRIDAY: Highs will drop back into the 40s with windy conditions behind the cold front. Expect sunshine in the morning with increasing clouds by afternoon. A few flurries or snow showers are possible by late afternoon into the evening, mainly in northwest TN and northeast AR. Winds will be west at 10-20 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy with passing flurries. Lows will drop into the low 30s.

WEEKEND: This weekend will be dry with off and on clouds both days. High temperatures will be in the mid 40s on Saturday and upper 40s on Sunday. Low temperatures will range from the low to mid 30s.

NEXT WEEK: High temperatures will be back to the lower 50s on Monday and Tuesday. Our next rain chance arrives Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday.
